Kanye West said Monday in a interjvu with the BBC that he wanted to work with Ikea.

But the furniture giant says no.

– We have no plans for a partnership at present, says a spokesperson for Ikea to CNBC.

Yesterday, rapper Kanye West in a radio interview BBC 1 that he wanted to design “minimalist student apartments” in cooperation with Ikea.

– Yo Ikea, let Kanye get to create. Let him do his thing for you know what, I want a bed that he does, I want a chair that he does, he said about himself in the interview.

The Swedish furniture giant does not appear to be quite as keen on a partnership that Kanye West is.

CNBC said a spokesperson for Ikea they flattered, but not Anyone interested.

– Although we are very flattered by Kanye West’s passion for Ikea and speculation about a partnership, we have no plans to work together in the current situation, said the spokesperson.

But at Ikea in Australia is one more sympathetic to a star cooperation. On his Facebook account branch has put out a proposal for a new, giant bed named Yeezy.

Speculation began in March when Kanye West visited IKEA headquarters in Älmhult. Then, as now, Ikea denied that any cooperation would be on time.
