Traffic Authority has today been commissioned by the government to investigate the ports that may be suitable for so-called alco booms. The attempts have been made at the ports of Stockholm and Gothenburg have had good effect on road safety.
– Sweden is a pioneer when it comes to road safety. To continue to be so in future we need with zero defect as the target look at new smart solutions. One such solution is alco booms in our major ports, they have proven to be very effective, says Minister Joan Smith.
