The August Prize-winning author Jessica Schiefauer is twice the current year. In August, she publishes a new novel for young readers, and in September it becomes theatrical release of the film adaptation of her novel “The Boys”.
Jessica Schiefauer received the August price of just “boys” in the child and youth class in 2011. Her new book “Dogs will” is also about love, but is a story set in the era of violence and xenophobia.
“The Boys” has been dramatized for the stage. In September, the film, which was directed by Alexandra-Therese Keining, premiered in Swedish cinemas.
