Sophia Dorothea Smith is the name of Värnamo girl who on Monday was nominated for Little August Prize.
She wrote two short stories and both are now nominated for the Little August Prize. The fact that it happens is very remarkable and Sofia Dorotea Svensson himself shocked that two of her short stories now have chance to win.
– I still do not know how it happened but it is absolutely amazing, says Sofia Dorotea Svensson, who now lives in Lund, but comes from Värnamo.
It is her short stories “Two wrongs will be a right” and suicide note “that has a chance to win the prestigious Little August Prize November 23 this year.
It feels great and I’m very happy and grateful that my words are seen and that people think I write well.
