On the Run “back in TV4 with a new name – Aftonbladet

In the autumn, celebrities and viewers hunt contestant again.

TV4 has breathed life into the “On the Run” again – under the new name: “Run!”

Nöjesbladet could already be in September last year reveal that TV4 wanted to create a new version of the 90′s classic ” On the Run “.

When tested the new format” Run! “on TV4′s site and now the channel’s management decided to launch the format for real.

– In the autumn conducted we are a full-scale pilot where we together with the viewers turned up what we will see in the fall. The result is a program where viewers are invited to most to influence the outcome of this thrilling clock hunt, says executive producer Pelle Porseryd in a press release.

Celebrities chasing pairs

Hostess for “Run!” becomes Pär Lernström and just like in “On the Run”, the celebrity chase couples trying to stay away while performing different tasks. TV viewers will social media be able to either help the fugitives pairs or chasing celebrities.

TV4 is now looking after ten couples will spend eight weeks in the fall trying to escape chasing celebrities. In the weeks will make use of TV4′s site to let viewers follow the pairs on different missions and on Saturday there will be live hide and seek.

The predecessor “On the Run” was broadcast between 1997 and 1999 with Martin Timell as hostess and sniffer dogs were among others Sofia Wistam, Lasse Kronér and Mike “Svullo” Dubois. The program’s most famous chased profiles duo was Hjalmar “Maurice” Östman and Jonas “Heavy” Stentäpp.

TV4′s new format, “Run!” Will premiere in the fall.
