New Pan would not lift – Västerbotten Folkblad

The major investment “Pan” – the film about a boy whose first name is Peter who never want to grow up – looks to be a real belly flop, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The studio Warner Brothers had hoped that the film could be the start of a new film series, like “Harry Potter”.

But “Pan”, which went up last weekend in theaters in the United States and some 50 -number other countries, have not reached the studio Warner Brothers’ expectations and the audience have failed, despite the actor Hugh Jackman and Rooney Mara.

According to analysts, the newspaper talked to the company can expect upwards of 150 million US dollars (corresponding to SEK 1.2bn) in losses on the “Pan”. Warner Brothers declined to comment on the data.

The film goes up in Swedish cinemas on 23 October.
