Hollywood honored Paris – Swedish Dagbladet

– All of us here support France and the French people. Although tonight we pay tribute to our history and the people who succeeded, we celebrate also the people who have died. We send our deepest condolences to our brothers and sisters in France, she said.

Even director Spike Lee, who received the prize for his work in the film, was dismayed by Friday’s terror attack in Paris, especially since his daughter is exchange student in France.

– My heart bleeds for the Parisians. I have always loved France, and the French have always treated me well. “Vive la France,” he said.
