Star wars “can be an eternity saga – Vasterbotten Courier

The power will obviously be with us for a good while. Disney, which bought Lucasfilm to 35 billion in 2012, plans namely to release a new “Star Wars” film every year – as long as people want to pay to see them, writes The Independent, referring to Wired magazine.

The last four decades of “Star wars” have been only the beginning, according to representatives of Lucasfilm such as Wired talked to. There are plans for sequels so far in the future that those who experienced the first “Star Wars” film in 1977 “will not live long enough to see the last”.

So far, there are plans six Star Wars movies in just the next six years, including some eight and nine in the series as well as a project of a young Han Solo.

“The force awakens” is the title of the seventh installment of “Star War “series and has its world premiere on 14 December.
