Even Hotel Borgholm, Daniel Berlin in Skåne Tranås and PM and friends get an opposite star. Karin Fransson, becoming the second woman in Sweden to get a Michelin star, for Titti Qvarnström as chef at Bloom in the park in Malmö, who received a star last year.
– I feel absolutely elated. It is like a diamond in the crown. We have fought long and it has not always been easy. This means a lot to me, for the restaurant and Oland, says Karin Fransson who runs Hotel Borgholm on Öland, to SvD.
The next week they open for the season and throughout the day, the phone has been hot.
– we had good with reservations before, but now hope that it will become even more and that we will attract more international guests, says Karin Fransson.
