13 years have passed since the last episode of the horror series The X-Files was sent. For almost as long, it has been speculated that it will ever continue.
Hollywood hears prayer, we now know. On 24 January 2016 the first episode of the brand new tenth season premiere on Fox. The date was announced yesterday on the show’s official Facebook page.
The new section will be recorded during the summer have been known since March, but it is not until now that the transmission date established.
Uncertainty season 11
David Duchovny playing a starring role in the cult series told during a press conference in March that he hoped to do more than a new season.
So far, however, the X-Files creator Chris Carter only planned six new episodes with David Duchovny and his co-star Gillian Anderson.
The series originally aired between 1993 and 2002 in nine seasons.
