Television cameraman kicked down refugee girl – dismissed – Göteborgs-Posten

A picture in which a Hungarian television cameraman put spokes in a fleeing man with a child in her arms have become widespread. After the incident attracted international attention, the woman has been dismissed.

The German journalist Stephan Richter was on location in Röszke, southern Hungary, near the Serbian border, for reporting about the refugee situation for German TV channel RTL.

He posted a video on Twitter that showed the scuffle that broke out on Tuesday when hundreds of refugees tried to get past the Hungarian border police, writes SVT Culture.

The clip was quickly spread when one can see how a Hungarian camera woman putting spokes in a man running with a child in her arms. The man and child to fall headlong to the ground.

Other clips from the same incident appeared on Twitter, where you see how the same woman Mattar kicks against children running.

According to the New York Times, the woman have been employed on the Hungarian web TV channel N1 TV, which is linked to the far-right party Jobbik. After the incident attracted international attention she has been dismissed.
