"Selling Isobel" with Swedish actress Frida Farrell in the lead role has been awarded "Indie of the year award" at the Raindance film festival in London. Farrell also stands as the film’s co-producer.
the Film about a young woman who is kidnapped, held captive and sold to several men during the three days based on the Frida Farrells own experiences.
"It feels so amazing to get to take towards the price. Of course, it reinforces my faith and the reason why I made the movie in the first place even more. . .) I am no victim – I’m a survivor," she says, according to a press release.
Frida Farrell has previously appeared in movies such as "Contract killer" and appears in the tv series "Bones".
the Raindance film festival has been running since september 21st and ends in the weekend.
