They get to go to Meryl Streep script school – Metro

Now it is clear who the lucky chosen are getting involved in Meryl Streep’s “Writers Lab,” reports Variety.

Of the 3500 candidates have twelve female screenwriter who are all over 40 years chosen to participate in a scripted exchange in New York September 18 to 20.

It is the actress Meryl Streep, who pulled in once the project with the aim to attract more female screenwriters in the film industry, in particular, she wants to lift women from 40 and up who have not yet had the chance to show what they can do.

The applicant has received to submit script ideas they want to develop, and will be supervised on-one among others, “The Darjeeling Limited” -producenten Lydia Dean Pilcher, “The Station Agent” -producenten Mary Jane Skalski and writer Jessica Bendinger behind “Bring it on”.
