More and more state funding start demanding that women should be in supporting roles to get the money for TV shows or movies.
The UK and Sweden have done it. Now Australian publicly funded Screen New South Wales, which funds about 30 projects per year, out with demands on those who want to make a television series that there must be at least one woman screenwriters, directors and producers.
the organization will not provide support for seminars or similar with the only male in the panels, it reports the blog Women and Hollywood.
