Artist Prince’s death: “One of the greatest of our time” – Swedish Dagbladet

artist spokesperson Yvette Noel-Schure confirmed earlier in the evening for the AP that the artist was found dead in his home in Chanhassen, Minnesota.

– It is with deep sorrow that I confirm that the legendary , iconic artist Prince Roger Nelson has died at his home in Paisley Park in the morning, said Yvette Noel-Schure, told AFP.

In the 1990s changed Prince his name to an unutterable symbol and wrote the word “slave” on his cheek in protest against his conditions of contract with record company Warner. Some years and many albums later, he could switch record labels and then started again using his real name.

Prince had time before he passed away put the instruments aside to devote himself to writing his memoirs. They were meant to be published in autumn 2017 entitled “The Beautiful Ones”.
