Cultural workers are exposed to threats – Västerbotten Courier

More than one third of writers and artists have been subjected to threats, harassment, violence, theft or vandalism related to the profession. It shows a report by the Agency for Cultural, writes Dagens Nyheter.

The Writers’ Union Chairman Gunnar Ardelius calls it a “real and widespread problem.”

Sofia Curman, editor of the newspaper The artist says that there are serious threats and harassment leads to self-censorship.
