“A man called Ove” won the great prize – financial times

“A man called Ove” has won the prize for Best european comedy at the European Film Awards.

– When I wrote the movie, I didn’t think it would win any prizes, ” says director Hannes Holm when he will receive the award.

The Swedish succékomedin “A man called Ove” was nominated for six different prizes in the Radio and has had great success also abroad. In the evening won the prize for Best european comedy at the filmgalan the European Film Awards. Starring Ove played by Rolf Lassgård that won an award for their effort. Other actors appearing in the film is the Bahar Pars, Filip Berg and Ida Engvoll.

"A man called Ove" is based on the book of the same name written by Fredrik Backman. The film was released at the cinema in the united states and Canada in september and low in the beginning of november at the location 20 on the biotopplistan there. The Swedish film institute has also chosen "A man called Ove" Sweden’s Oscar contribution in 2017.
