Sara Arrhenius will be the new rector at the art academy in Stockholm. She comes from the service manager at Bonniers konsthall in Stockholm, which she has managed since 2005.
the Government has appointed Arrhenius as the successor to the american Marta Kuzma, who left his mission early. She takes up her position on 1 april 2017. Her employment is valid up to and including 31 march 2017.
Sara Arrhenius is a curator, writer, and former art critic at Dagens Nyheter. She has also previously been a director of the Swedish arts grants committee: exchange programme Iaspis.
