Closed schools after the earthquake in the united states – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

Schools are held in the day closed in the state of Oklahoma in the united states after an earthquake, reports the american media. The quake was measured at a magnitude of 5.0 and was felt in a wide area, including in the neighbouring state of Texas.

the City of Cushing reports, "a lot of damage", including building materials, which plummeted from the facades, according to ABC News. The schools which will not open until you have had time to inspect the school buildings.

In the past week, the state institute USGS registered 19 earthquakes in Oklahoma. A quake in september was measured to be 5.6.

One of the country’s largest oil terminals located in Cushing. Researchers have concluded that an earthquake that occurred in 2011, with a magnitude of 5.7 was linked to the oil drilling in the state.
