Beastie Boys founder’s death – Aftonbladet

Earlier Beastie Boys guitarist John Berry’s death.

Berry was denied and had become increasingly ill the past few months. He died at the hospice – 52 years old.

John Berry , one of the founders of the legendary band the Beastie Boys, is dead. He died on Thursday morning at a hospice in Massachusetts. Berry’s father confirmed his son’s death to Rolling Stone magazine. He says that his son suffered from dementia had become worse in recent months.



Come on the name

John Berry played guitar in the band and was the one who came in the name of the Beastie Boys. He was not a long-lived member of the group, but left a year after its inception. Berry was featured in several other bands, including even worse, Big Fat Love, Highway Stars and Bourbon Deluxe.

Although he left Beastie Boys he was hailed as the band was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 .

the Beastie Boys, who for most of his career consisted of Adam “MCA” Yauch, Michael “Mike D” Diamond and Adam “Ad- Rock “Horovitz, was enormously influential and is one of the oldest hip-hop groups. The band was founded in Brooklyn, New York, 1981. With hits like “Fight for your right to party”, “Intergalactic” and “Sabotage” dominated the hip-lists in the late 80s and early 90s. 2014 told us that the group will not make more music, after the member Adam Yauch died of cancer.
