Actor and singer Lena Dahlman has passed away at the age of 77 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, writes Aftonbladet.
– It has gone very quickly, says Dahl’s husband Lasse Olofsson New Wermlands-magazine.
Lena Dahlman was selected as the winner of the beauty contest” year daisy “at Nalen in 1957. the following year, she began her acting career in Hasse Ekman’s revue “Funny boy”. The major film debut came in “Åsa-Nisse and thick family” in 1963.
Lena Dahlman toured with the National Theatre and was engaged at the Stockholm City Theatre.
Her last film role was in Ulf Malmros’ Slim Sussie “in 2003.
