August praise for Danish television series – Metro

Pernilla August received in the role of director to receive a scholarship in conjunction with the Bodil Award was handed out in Copenhagen.

It was the first time that the scholarship in memory of the unwinding Danish director Kathrine Windfelds awarded out. It goes to someone who promotes and focuses on gender equality in the film industry.

August received 50,000 Danish crowns together with writer Maja Ilsøe and actress Trine Dyrholm for the work of “nuance” woman’s portrait in the Danish TV series “brothers”.

“brothers,” which is about how four siblings will try to share the legacy of his mother, has become a huge box office success worldwide, not least in Sweden. Pernilla August has directed several sections.

In the third and final season of the series that is now being recorded will Pernilla August in acting.
