Aretha Franklin stopped watching movies – Västerbotten Folkblad

“Respect” -sångerskan have got just that. With the help of a court order, she has managed to stop the display of the documentary “Amazing Grace,” which is about herself, according to The Wrap.

The decision came just three hours before the film was shown at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

“Fairness, respect and what is right won, just as every person’s right to own their own self-image,” the singer said in a statement, according to The Wrap.

The material in ” Amazing Grace “was recorded by the double Oscar winner Sydney Pollack in 1972, according to Franklin, it was never supposed to be used for commercial purposes.
