AC / DC drummer in trouble – again – the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

On Monday, he was released on bail by a New Zealand court, suspected of having violated the terms of the judgment and drank alcohol during their sentence.

Rudd denies the allegations, but will be tried before the court in November. Meanwhile, he must not leave his home just outside Auckland.

It was in November last year as Phill Rudd was arrested by police on suspicion of plotting to hire a hitman. The charges were mitigated, however, later and earlier this year he was sentenced for assault and drug offenses. The punishment was eight months of house arrest with electronic tagging.

Whether drummer will return to AC / DC is unclear. Rudd himself has said that he wants to continue playing with the band that he had not had much contact with other members.

The former AC / DC drummer Chris Slade replaces Phil Rudd on the band’s current world tour.
