Bob Geldof continues to line up big names to Band Aid 30, the new version of the classic single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” .
It was previously known that One Direction will take part in the charity single, whose proceeds will go to to quell the ongoing Ebola crisis.
The single will be recorded on Saturday and will made available for download already on Monday. It told the promoters, Bob Geldof and Midge Ure at a press briefing on Monday, according to the BBC.
– 30 years ago people went together to help and make a difference. We want to do it again, says Midge Ure, frontman of synth group Ultravox.
Several names
It was the two rock stars who started Band Aid concept in the 80s.
The new version produced by Paul Epworth, which among other things produced hits with Adele and One Direction.
Many of the names will be announced shortly.
Other versions
Versions will also be made of the song in France, Germany and the United States.

Band Aid was the name of the British popelit 1984 recorded “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” led by Geldof. It sold in less than 3.7 million and collected it for that time enormous sum mijoner 8 pounds to the fight against hunger in Africa.
The song was followed by an American version of the USA for Africa and the great Live Aid -konserten from London and Philadelphia the following year.
This will be the fourth time the Band Aid concept is used. The single was recorded back in 1989, when it was time for the 20th anniversary in 2004 put many of the great artists up.
