The Critic and author Mats Gellerfelt has died, as announced by his former workplace, Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.
Mats Gellerfelt was for many years a recurring name the paper’s cultural pages. Even before his pen began to glow, he did, however, familiar with Svenska Dagbladet, when he worked there as a typographer for most of the 70th century.
In the 80s, he stuck out by daring to question the Swedish literary criticism, which he felt needed a change. Since then, Mats Gellerfelt alongside their journalistic works written the poetry collections, a novel and translated the first part of Bob Dylan’s memoirs.
Mats Gellerfelt, which some time ago was diagnosed with cancer, was 64 years.
