JK Rowling will write a total of three films of the Harry Potter spin-off “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” writes nme.com.
the author released the news on Twitter while she denied rumors that the play about Harry Potter, “Cursed child”, also should be a movie. She said, however, that fans can expect much of the series “Fantastic Beasts”.
The story takes place in New York, 70 years before the story of Harry Potter. One must follow Newt Scamander, author who writes a book decades later becomes one of Harry’s school books at Hogwarts. Scamander played by Eddie Redmayne.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is Rowling’s debut screenplay. The first film is scheduled to premiere November 18, 2016.
