Karin Pettersson of mythical Elena Ferrante’s masterful women’s story – Aftonbladet

It is my in the holiday and I’m halfway through Elena Ferrante novels when my husband tries to attract my attention. He wants help with the kids or something else trivial. I suffer from rage. Yells: You understand nothing about how it is to be a woman. No-thing!

The reading experience is immersive and shattering. I realize how rarely women’s experiences and intimate relationships described like this complex. A happiness that word is a part of my own experience mixed with strong anger at how little space it is allowed to take in literature and politics.
