Plunged 19 meters – police suspect no longer crimes – Göteborgs-Posten



A young woman fell from a balcony 19 meters above the ground in Uppsala Saturday. A man was arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder her, but police have at 11 o’clock on Sunday closed the criminal suspicions. – She says she climbed over the railing and fallen down, said Kenneth Sundin at Uppsala police said.

At 13 o’clock on Saturday afternoon alerted police to a student dormitory in an apartment building in Uppsala.
Witnesses had then anträffat a woman lying in the bushes below the balcony of an apartment building.
Shortly before the woman found she had been seen with a man on a balcony 19 meters above the site where she was found. The woman was driven by ambulance to University Hospital in Uppsala, where she cared for Saturday including severe back injuries.

At the site, the police could arrest a man suspected of murder, alternatively attempted manslaughter. Witnesses had told me that it could be heard from the balcony brawl shortly before the woman fell to the ground. The man was arrested later in the evening after being questioned by police, the woman could not because of her position would not be heard on Saturday.

During the night, her condition improved, which meant that the police could talk to her on Sunday morning. The woman is now in the hearing indicated that she must have climbed over the railing and fell down, police suspect no longer crimes and the man was arrested on suspicion of murder, alternatively murder is released repudiated all criminal charges.
