Sick Jagger gets the Stones to set – Västerbottens-kuriren (the Courier)

the Rolling Stones set up tonight’s planned gig in Las Vegas after 73-year-old singer Mick Jagger has become sick, writes Billboard. Jagger has been affected by the stämbandsinflammation and been ordered by doctors to rest his voice.

"I am sorry for Wednesday’s cancellation of the show in Las Vegas. I have had severe stämbandsinflammation. I apologize to everyone who bought tickets," writes Jagger on Twitter.

A spokesperson for the band says that they hope to find a new date for the show soon. The next concert on Saturday, also in Las Vegas, is not affected in the present time.

the Rolling Stones recently played at the festival in the Desert Trip in California along with other rockrävar as Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and Neil Young. Towards the end of Friday’s concert was Jaggers voice noticeably cracked, something he blamed on the dry and windy ökenklimatet.
