In the fresh Kurt Cobain documentary “Montage of heck” includes a lot of previously unreleased material by the late Nirvana frontman. Now it is clear that the recordings will be released on CD this summer, reports Pitchfork.
According to the film’s director, Brett Morgen, the disc will feel as if “hanging out with Kurt Cobain on a hot summer day in Olympia Washington while he jams a bit. ” However, he is careful to point out that it in no way involves a Nirvana-plate.
– There’s only Kurt and you will hear him do things you would never believe he would do, says Morgenstern.
Kurt Cobain took his life April 5 1994. He was 27 years.
“Montage of heck” was shown in cinemas in Sweden on 27- 28 April.
