Alarm about the shootings – injured man to hospital – Göteborgs-Posten

Sweden Police investigating a suspected attempted murder in the district Fosie in Malmö after a man fired several shots. – The man being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds, says Anna Göransson on the police.

The police were alerted about the shooting at 19:03 on Tuesday evening. At the place where the shooting to have taken place anträffades an injured man who was driven by ambulance to hospital.

– I do not know if he’s gunshot injury. What I can say is that we have an alarm if a shooting and that a person is injured and taken to hospital, told Anna Göransson, spokesperson for the police in the south region shortly after the alarm.

The police have cordoned off the area for a technical crime scene investigation.

According to Anna Goranson heard several people by the police regarding the alleged shootings in the district Fosie in Malmö.

– But what various witnesses have stated that they have seen and heard or not I do not know right now, says Anna Göransson.

Police have secured the suspected crime scene where one has started a technical crime scene investigation. It has also begun to hold hearings with witnesses to the event.

A massive hunt is also underway for one or more perpetrators.

According to the Evening Post to be witnesses have stated that a man on a motorcycle was shot by two people after the shooting fled away on a moped.

Anna Göransson on the police report that a dog patrol is in place at the suspected crime scene.

At 21:30 pm on Tuesday evening was not arrested suspected of the deed. Anna Göransson stated that the police classified the incident as a suspected assassination attempt.

The victim man should not have suffered life-threatening injuries and cared for now in hospital.

Anna Göransson stated that the police made a number of findings at the crime scene.

– But what a bargain we have made, I can not not go on, said police spokesperson.
