A performance of the musical “Jersey Boys” at the China Theatre in Stockholm was canceled on Saturday afternoon after David Lindgren, who plays one of the leads, collapsed on stage, writes Aftonbladet .
An ambulance was called to the scene and the audience was asked to await approval of the show would be canceled or not.
In the end, the show continued with the actor Nicklas Berglund replacement.
– David had to cancel the show and go to hospital for observation. He fainted and they held a break, says producer Bosse Andersson told Aftonbladet.
David Lindgren had to leave the hospital later on Saturday evening.
“He is told to rest”, writes Charlotte Ryding, who worked with the production, in a text message to Aftonbladet.
