“Amy”, the documentary about the singer Amy Winehouse’s life, has begun to appear in a Thai youth prison, writes The Guardian.
It is hoped that the film , depicting Winehouse’s drug and alcohol related living that ultimately led to her death at a young age, to have a deterrent effect on teenage boys in prison.
– Amy’s story is a true story which reflect real problems in society, especially among young people. Amy lost the fight, but these kids still have a chance, says Kamron Chudecha Stop Drink Network, which is the initiator of the film screening.
