The French newspaper Le Monde to launch a digital service that will reveal what nätsajter to trust, reports Swedish Radio’s Kulturnytt. The idea is that users should be able to type in the address of a particular site and, based on a five-point scale to get answers about the web page reliability.
the Idea came after the terrorist attacks in Paris in the autumn of 2015 when the newspaper considered that a number of false news about the events spread on the network.
“We saw that many rumors and conspiracy theories spread online and we could not reveal everything, and we felt that this was a recurring problem for us,” says Le Monde journalist Samuel Laurent to the Program.
