R Kelly wrote 462 songs for the new album – Swedish Dagbladet

– I have written 462 songs for this album, says R Kelly in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

– This is not about ideas, but about the whole songs. I wanted to be sure I would have more than enough to choose from when I would pick out the 14, 15 or 16 songs that will be on the plate.

R Kelly says it’s like he a radio station in his head just playing hits, written by himself. He also says that he has written songs in a variety of genres to the album.

– I had seven or eight country songs that I chose from and picked out one. So it’s a countrylåt on the disc, he said.

“The buffet ‘is released on 25 September.
