Soran Ismail continues on the SR during extraordinary elections – Aftonbladet

Soran Ismail took time out from Swedish radio during the election.

But during the additional election, he works as usual.

The reason was that Soran Ismail taken a partisan stand against the Sweden Democrats and wanted to continue to do that outside of work during the election campaign. Something that was deemed contrary to the SR’s stringent standards of impartiality among employees at election time.

After the election was Soran Ismail back in Morgonpasset. Now, SR decided that he works on even during extraordinary elections in March.

Mattias Hermansson , Cultural Affairs and publisher on Swedish radio, confirms that he has decided to let Soran Ismail work as usual during the election.

According to Mattias Hermansson has Soran Ismail no party political commitments outside the public service job that will collide with the election campaign. Therefore, he assesses that the comedian can continue as usual.
