Ruben Östlund “Tourist” is one of nine films that have been selected for the so-called short list in anticipation of the nominations for the Oscars. Out of the nine films will be five nominees in the category of Best Foreign Language Film. On January 15 grants negative “Tourist” is one of the five selected.
“Tourist” won the jury prize in the prestigious category Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in May and has also been nominated for a Golden Globe, whose gala held on 11 January. Academy Awards will be held February 23 Swedish time.
