X-Files recorded in the summer – Göteborgs-Posten

The rumor is now confirmed: Agents Mulder and Scully come back for a new season of The X-Files Six new episodes recorded in the summer.

The stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson have both signed on to reprise his wildly popular roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Characters the first time portrayed in 1993 and then stayed at in nine seasons of the popular series, which also resulted in two feature films: The X-Files: I Want to Believe (2008) and The X-Files: I fight the Future (1998).

For years the series was the television channel Fox’s most watched and profitable. A host of devoted fans around the world fell Agent duo where one is fully convinced of the supernatural existence while the other is the worst skeptic. This results in an endless amusing bickering between the agents while the tackles, and solves mysterious new cases.

As most the series in season four to six close to 20 million viewers in week. Last season aired in 2002 and this summer played thus six new episodes in writes The Hollywood Reporter.

– I see the break as a thirteen year long commercial break, joking series creator Chris Carter who is also back in the production team.

– The good news is that the world just got even more remarkable, making it the perfect opportunity to tell precisely these six stories.

Even Fox executives Dana Walden and Gary Newman is back and satisfied with reunification in every way. They told The Hollywood Reporter:

– To work with the X-Files is among the most enriching we have made in our lives. The series was not only an innovative show for our channel, it became a global phenomenon that shaped popular culture

When the new season of The X-Files premiere is yet to be decided.
