The sex crimes accused Bill Cosby may have been granted immunity for violations of a woman in 2004.
The Cosby testified in a civil action between the woman and him in 2005. According to an email from a former prosecutor in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, to its successors, he agreed with Cosby that the testimony could not be used in a prosecution, reports CNN.
However, the current prosecutor Kevin Steele does not agree with the description.
– There is a specific legal method of granting immunity. It was not done in 2005, he told CNN.
It was in December 2015 that the suspicions against Bill Cosby reached a court. Prosecutors want to adjudicate on allegations that Bill Cosby drugged and molested the woman in 2004.
