2. The Night We Called It A Day – Aftonbladet

Bob Dylan continues to create music.

On February 15, released the studio album “Shadows in the night,” writes Sony in a press release.

– It was truly a privilege to do this album, he says.

Bob Dylan doing it for the 36th time – release a new studio album.

It will be his first since the fans speculated that he would quit after the album “Tempest” that came in 2012.

– It was truly a privilege to make this album. I’ve wanted to do something like this for a long time, but have never been brave enough to approach me these orchestral arrangements and scale them down for a five piece band, says Bob Dylan in a statement.

“Lifts up songs from the grave “

He says that everything on the album” Shadows in the Night “was recorded live, like so much else Bob Dylan recorded.

– Maybe one or two takes. No overdubs. No sångbås or headphones. The album is mostly mixed as it was recorded. I do not see myself as an interpreter of these songs in any way. They have been interpreted enough and now fallen into disuse. What I and my band basically does is to lift up the songs from the grave and let them re-emerge.

Dylan has sold 125 million records.
