The favorite Philip Poon out of the Swedish master chef – Aftonbladet

He has been hailed throughout the season.

But tonight took the trip out of Philip Poon, 19, in the “Swedish master chef.”

– It was incredibly boring, especially to go because of a crappy thing, he says.

After a team competition, where Philip Poon belonged to the losing team, it was clear that he would compete against Louis Brydolf and Susanna Bill in a taste test.

There, the favorite was beaten with a point and end in sixth place in the cooking contest.

– It was incredibly boring, especially to go because of a crappy thing, a taste. It had felt more fun to go out on a dish. It had been a little more “legit” as well, he said.

juror Markus Aujalay says that Philip ended up on top in the competition.

– To Philip went out on a taste test I could think was a blessing in disguise. He stopped at the top and has shown that he really is a clever and talented chefs. Had enough felt sadder to go out on a right which he got confused when he kept so incredibly high level all the time, he said.



Angry viewers

After the program was several TV viewers angry and social media boiling over of comments where many believe that it is not logical that he was the one week may have cooked one of the best dishes in the program’s history to the next to go out on a sample of Turkish sweets.

– Although Philip went out he is a winner in my safe and many others’ eyes also, absolutely, says the participant Fredrik Jonsson .

Missed top five

Philip Poon’s been one of the big favorites of the season and has tokhyllats by the jury. Last week the floors were those of his pork loin.

– It would have been great to get into the top five, it was the goal of the whole race I felt. But I’m very happy with my effort. It was a great fun journey, a journey of a lifetime.



Works at St. Mark’s restaurant

Markus Aujalay gave Philip a job offer after he went out of the competition and Leif Mannerström said in the program that “when you practiced a little of St. Mark, you are welcome with me afterwards.”

Today, Philip a permanent position at St. Mark Aujalays restaurant Winterviken.

– Philip is extremely talented and it’s not often that one encounters people of that age who have really the . To be accomplished chef takes time and he needs to wear wear for years to come. He will go far, says Markus Aujalay.

Philip Poon says he is now based on the experience from the industry.

– It will probably end up with that I work at Leif for a while too but not too long, but personally I want out into the world and travel and discovered so many new flavors as possible, he said.
