Fredric Bedoire awarded to Major non-fiction book price 2015 for the collection “The Swedish architectural history,” Parts 1 and 2.
Among the other nominees were, among others, Kerstin Ekman and My Hellsing.
Fredric Bedoire is emeritus professor of architectural history at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts School of Architecture. The winning work “The Swedish history of architecture” in two bands (the years 1000-1800 and 1800-2000) consists of a total of 984 pages and 1A ???? 475 images.
Large non-fiction award honors books that “belongs and strengthen the training world, “and the prize fund is 125 000 SEK. Axel and Margaret Ax: son Johnson Foundation is behind the price, and among previous winners include Susann Silfverstolpe and Carl-Johan Malmberg.
