E Street member did gigs in Sjuntorp – Vasterbotten Courier

Jake Clemons, who plays saxophone in Bruce Springsteen’s backing band The E Street Band, made a living playing in Sjuntorp outside Trollhättan on Tuesday, reports Swedish Radio P4 Sjuhärad.

Clemons usually unwind tours with Springsteen with the more intimate gigs, and this time took the concert room in Sjuntorpbon Annette Dahlin Johansson’s home.

– I could not quite believe it was true until he actually showed up, she says to the radio.

Anette Dahlin Johansson looked at social media to Clemons was looking for a place in Sweden to play on and got in touch with him. After seeing pictures of her home, he accepted.

– I have been playing giant stadiums, but it is a different feeling to come home to people, share music with them the same way as they did thousands of years ago. It is not part of our everyday lives longer, says Jake Clemons to the “New Culture”.
