A wet and cold summer may have contributed to the increased use of video-streaming service Netflix. It points to the latest figures from the film and television giant in Scandinavia.
The number of streaming hours per member in June and July were 20 percent higher this year than last year, Netflix announced in a press release. Even in the neighboring countries of Finland, Norway and Denmark, the use increased during the summer months in comparison with the previous year.
Netflix has around 65 million members in over 50 countries and produces its own TV series such as “Orange Is the New Black” and “House of Cards”.
