Join in on the closed National Museum – Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet

& lt; b & gt; A modern museum & lt; / b & gt; & lt; br / & gt;When the National Museum opened in 1866, it was a modern museum building, but the difference with today's museum is great. There was no electricity, so the daylight had to control the opening hours. The stairwell was heated not up, so visitors were allowed to keep their coats on, and for fear of fire fired only during the day.
