The songwriter Sid Tepper, who made songs for, among others, Elvis Presley, has died 96 years old, writes Variety.
Tepper wrote 45 songs for Presley, among them “The lady loves me” as Elvis sang along with the Swedish Ann-Margret in the film “Viva Las Vegas” from 1964th
Tepper wrote over 300 songs recorded by the likes of Frank Sinatra , Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong and Dean Martin. Among the most famous are the “Red Roses for a Blue Lady,” “Kiss of Fire” and “The Young Ones”, which Cliff Richard had a big hit with the 1961st
