– It was a very scary proposition. And besides, I felt that I had done my when it came sequel. I simply wanted to stay away from it in the future, he said.

The result we will see in December this year. The movie “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force awakens” takes place several decades after the act in Part Six, “Return of the Jedi”. So far, basically everything about the plot top secret, but it is clear that among Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and the robots R2D2 and C3PO is also included in the number seven.
Protagonist in the new film is Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega, and the ensemble is also Adam Driver, Andy Serkis and Max von Sydow. If the latter is rumored that he plays an evil Sith lord.
– The film begins on a desert planet, where some characters meet each other and beat entourage. Oscar Isaac plays an X-Wing pilot, sent out on behalf of a certain princess, says Abrams.
That’s about as much as he wants to say about the plot. He saw himself his first “Star Wars” film when he was eleven years old, and says he will never forget the feeling he got when.
– It took me away to another world, it got me to believe that other world. There were heart and there was hope in the story and it made a tremendous impression on an eleven year old.
– Even then I felt we looked real and natural and I wanted to join even in my film. We built so many sets we could, we used not so much special effects that we could have done. I wanted to keep the balance between the old and the new, the feeling that everything is for real, a combination of technology and the brilliance of the George Lucas did.
When Lucas directed on first film, the one called “A New Hope” and is part four in the story, it was noticeable that he was influenced by western classics as John Ford’s “persecutor”. Abrams continues the tradition.
– “Star Wars” is in many ways a west movie, a tale set in a John Ford landscapes.
Is he afraid to do all the millions of dedicated fans disappointed?
– I am aware that we can not satisfy everyone. What we do is to pay homage to the “Star Wars” tradition while we tell a new story. Sure, there are moments when I feel terrified, but mostly it’s fun. The possibilities are more than the risks, says JJ Abrams.
