The Hollywood Reporter has published a tweet that Trank has written, which is then removed, which reads:

This spring was the film rewritten when senior executives at Fox expressed the concern tranks behavior during recording. In the end got the producers Simon Kinberg and Hutch Parker come in to complete the “Fantastic Four”. The film received a lukewarm reception by critics.
Josh Trank was intended as a director of one of the upcoming “Star Wars” films, but Kinberg – who will produce the film – put an end to those plans after their collaboration on “Fantastic Four” collapsed.
