The second season of the anthology series “True Detective” has been cut by fans who do not think it lives up to the acclaimed first season. TV company HBO’s program director Michael Lombardo defends, however, the series and its author Nic Pizzolatto.
– He’s one of the best writers who work in television and film today, says Lombardo according to the Hollywood Reporter.
He also fits in to bid the expectations of the end of the season, now just two weeks away, and says that the last section is among the better he looked.
Lombardo, however, no notice of Whether there will be a third season of “True Detective” – he says it’s up to Nic Pizzolatto.
